Seaman is located in southwestern Ohio in Adams County about 50 miles east-southeast of Cincinnati and 10 miles north of West Union, the county seat. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 1,114, an increase of 101 since 1990. Outdoor recreation can be found along the Ohio River 15 miles south of town and Rocky Fork Lake and Rocky Fork State Park 20 miles to the north.
