Barnsdall is located in northeast Oklahoma in
Osage County north of
Tulsa along SR 11 just north of
Birch Lake about 20 statute miles north of
Skiatook Lake.
Local attractions include the Bigheart Museum, named in honor of one of the most influential Osage Nation Chiefs of all time--James "Big Jim" BigHeart.
