Beavers Bend State Park

The first of two parks in the Beavers Bend river area and is located in southeast Oklahoma in McCurtain County off U.S. Hwy 259, adjacent to Broken Bow Lake. The Beavers Bend main entrance is 7 miles north of Broken Bow on SR 259A. There is a combined 14,240 water acres including Mountain Fork of the Little River and a combined 3,482 park acreage (with nearby Hochatown State Park). The 40-room Lakeview Lodge is situated on the lake along with 47 cabins (most with a fireplace), 8 camping areas, 393 campsites, assigned campground and 2 group camps with capacities of 144. In addition, there is a forest heritage and education center, a nature center with on-site naturalist, and an amphitheatre.

Recreational features include backpacking, biking, nature and hiking trails, swimming, boating, water skiing, trout fishing, volleyball, tennis, bike rental, beach, canoeing, paddleboating, bumper boating, horseback riding, hayrides, golf, miniature golf, restaurant, grocery, gift shop, train rides and picnic areas.
