Chandler is located in central Oklahoma in Lincoln County (of which it is the county seat) northeast of Oklahoma City along Route 66 south of Interstate 44.
The historic little town showcases the vintage 1930s Phillips 66 station with its peaked roof and the Lincoln County Museum of Pioneer History. This 8,000 square foot structure features a showcase of legendary lawman Bill Tilghman.
The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 2,644, an increase of 48 since 1990.
