Erick

Erick is located in western Oklahoma in Beckham County not far from the Texas state line on Interstate 40 west of Sayre. It lies along the historic Route 66.

Famous country singer Roger Miller calls Erick his home town. Miller sang one of the all-time favorite country songs--"King of the Road".

Well-known roadside attractions include Cal's Diner, famous for its tasty hamburgers, chicken-fried steak and cinnamon rolls; the 100th Meridian House, displaying such things as "questionable" early hair-perming methods plus an exhibit about how banks and jails operated in the Territory and the Erick Honey Farm and Candle Company.
