Eufaula

Eufaula is located in eastern Oklahoma McIntosh County south of Muskogee along SR 9 off U.S. Highway 69 on the shores of the Eufaula Lake, the state's largest.

Recreation for the area is only minutes away and is highlighted by Lake Eufala State Park to the north and Arrowhead State Park to the south. In addition, the Canadian River empties into the lake just south of town.

The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 3,404, an increase of 752 since 1990.
