Lake Etling is located in the Panhandle region of Oklahoma in Cimarron County about 20 miles northwest of Boise City near the New Mexico state line. The 159-acre lake has 5 miles of shoreline and is an integral part of Black Mesa State Park.

The campgrounds are open year round and has 34 electric/water hookups, 21 primitive sites, a group camp, restrooms and showers, a sanitary dump station, picnic areas and boat ramps.
