Lone Wolf is located in southwestern Oklahoma in Kiowa County, west of Hobart and east of Lake Altus-Lugert. Nearby outdoor recreation areas include Quartz Mountain State Park south-southeast of town and Great Plains State Park about 25 miles to the southeast.
