Quartz Mountain State Park is located in southwestern Oklahoma in
Kiowa County on the western shores of
Lake Altus-Lugert along SR 44A. The park's headquarters are in
Lone Wolf about 5 miles from the lake's northeast corner.
The 4,300-acre park is anchored by the lake and features a 122-room resort lodge, 8 cottages, a 64-person dormitory, 214 campsites (most with hookups) and 4 comfort stations with showers among a total of 7.
