Nowata Oklahoma

Nowata is located in northeastern Oklahoma in Nowata County (of which it is the county seat) east of Bartlesville at the intersection of U.S. Highways 60 and 169. Lake Oologah and the Verdigris River to the east and south provide outdoor recreation for the area.

Other local attractions include the Glass Mansion and the Nowata County Historical Museum.
