Wagoner is located in northeastern Oklahoma in Wagoner County (of which it is the county seat) east-southeast of Tulsa 2 miles east of U.S. Highway 69 on the shores of Fort Gibson Lake.
Local attractions include the Wagoner City Historical Museum which includes a display of fashionable clothing from years gone by.
