Chatham-Kent Museum

The Chatham-Kent Museum, established in 1943, is dedicated to preserving the material heritage of Chatham-Kent and to promote the area history through exhibits and programming. The Museum has, for over 50 years, been selectively acquiring artifacts of local and national significance including 12,000 three dimensional objects, over 1,000 natural science specimens, 50,000 photographic images, archival material and a substantial art collection including works by celebrated Canadians; A.M. Fleming, Hortense Gordon and Mary Abraham.
