James Bay General Hospital is the most Northern Provincial Hospital in Ontario. It is a provincial hospital, governed by a volunteer board made up of aboriginal and non-aborginial people who are working together and are dedicated to achieve better health care in the area under their jurisdiction. The mission is to provide quality Health Care Services in a culturally sensitive manner to the unique people of James Bay, while maintaining a positive, professional environment for its patients, staff and the communities which it serves.
