Banks-Vernonia State Trail |
Banks-Vernonia State Trail is an example of a 'linear park.' Formerly the roadbed of a now-abandoned railway, the 21-mile trail is now open to hikers, cyclists, and those on horseback, who can follow it through the coast range foothills between Banks and Vernonia.
Quality experiences await visitors to more than 200 state parks managed for the public by the Oregon State Parks.
