Have You Seen Mt. St. Helens by Air?

Search Portland Oregon
Fly into the volcano with C & C Aviation and view the effects of the 50-megaton blast, 8:32 am on May 18, 1980, that reduced Mt. St. Helens elevation from 9,677 to 8,365 feet and removed 2.6 cubic kilometers from the mountain.

Fly around the lava dome, now almost 1200 feet above the floor of the crater and growing so fast that geologists estimate it may replace the original mountain within 150 to 250 years.

See the "mini Grand Canyon" that looks like it was formed over a period of 30,000 years but which actually occurred in a matter of hours.
