The Oregon Scenic Byway consists of two segments totalling 45 miles between <a href="http://www.ohwy.com/or/t/troutdal.htm">Troutdale</a> and Dodson and from <a href="http://www.ohwy.com/or/m/mosier.htm">Mosier</a> to <a href="http://www.ohwy.com/or/t/thedalle.htm">The Dalles</a>. The route's major themes are scenic beauty, history, and recreation. Spectacular scenery includes the river, high basalt cliffs, waterfalls, vegetation and historic structures such as the <a href="http://www.ohwy.com/or/m/multfalo.htm">Multnomah Falls Lodge</a>. Many state parks are found in the Gorge, including <a href="http://www.ohwy.com/or/c/crownpt.htm">Crown Point State Scenic Corridor</a> near the west end and <a href="http://www.ohwy.com/or/m/memaloos.htm">Memaloose State Park</a> near The Dalles.<P>      <P>
