Collier Memorial State Park

A Unique Open-Air Logging Museum

In 1945, Alfred and Andrew Collier of Klamath Falls gave 146 acres of land to the state of Oregon as a memorial to their parents. Two years later, the brothers began to construct a museum which would depict the evolution of logging equipment. The museum is recognized as having one of the finest collections of logging equipment in the country.

The camping area provides 18 tent campsites, 50 trailer spaces with full utility hookups, and a 4-corral primitive horse camp.

Max RV, 60 feet.

In addition, there are two day-use picnic areas with modern restrooms, picnic tables with fire rings, a kitchen shelter with electric stove and a children's play area. The park also has laundry facilities.

Take time to walk through a recreated pioneer village, fish the Willamson River ( a top producer of trophy trout), and, in the summer months, enjoy naturalist-led hikes.
