The Columbia River Gorge Visitors Association (CRGVA) is an incorporated non-profit organization with over 55 businesses and attractions as members. Its mission is to promote the visitor industry in the entire Columbia River Gorge Nat'l Scenic Area on a regional, national and international level by creating and promoting an image of the gorge as an attractive overnight destination area; marketing the communities and the area's entire inventory of existing marketing strategies and programs; and representing the interests of the entire Gorge visitor industry. The organization is managed by a twelve member board consisting of 2 representatives per county from the six Gorge counties: Hood River County, Multnomah County, Wasco County in Oregon; and Clark, Klickitat and Skamania in Washington. The CRGVA began activities in 1990, and meets every fourth Wednesday of each month, except for August and December.
