The 82-mile byway loops through the central portion of the Cascade Mountains. Ranging west from
Sisters, the byway provides view of outstanding mountain scenery and access to the Wild and Scenic
McKenzie River. A national recreation trail as well as fishing, boating, camping and other recreation pursuits.
Additional Highways, Byways, and Scenic Drives have been designated official Oregon Scenic Byways.
