Myrtle Creek is located in Douglas County between Roseburg and Canyonville along Interstate 5 and the South Umpqua River.This community was first incorporated in 1893. Today, the city Population is around 3,480. Local attractions include the Umpqua National Forest, Myrtle Creek Golf Course (beautiful 18 hole course), Hunting and Shooting (elk, bear, deer, grouse, quail, turkey) and Fishing (shad, salmon, steelhead, trout, bass).
