A presentation of regional history, outstanding rocks, minerals, gemstones and cabochons.Oregon Trail Regional Museum collections are housed in a building built in 1920 as a Natatorium (a place to swim), and a community activity center featuring a beautiful ballroom. The old "Nat" was to be demolished but was placed on the National Register of Historic Places. Restoration of the building was begun in late 1977 and is still continuing. Hours: Open Daily. Closed in winter. Tours by appointment, admission by donation. Suggested donations: $5.00 Adults (16+), $4.50 Senions (60+) kids under 16 Free This is just one of the many Historical Museums located throughout Oregon.
