This eight-mile trail is located within the Siuslaw National Forest, within the Mt. Hebo Special Interest Area. Visitors can experience open meadows, heavy forest, and a trail used by the first Tillamook County settlers. The trail offers a spectacular view of the Pacific ocean and the Cascade mountains. Horses are permitted on the trail. There is horse trailer parking. Rated difficult. Open year round. Contact the Hebo Ranger District.
