Siuslaw National Forest

The Siuslaw National Forest extends from Tillamook County to Coos County and contains some of the most productive tree growing land in the United States. In addition, it manages many resources for recreational enjoyment of the public.

There is a handout that lists the accessible sites on the Siuslaw National Forest, which is available on request by phone.

The Siuslaw NF is one of only two National Forests in the continental US that border the Pacific. Points of interest include Cascade Head, Cape Perpetua, and the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area. There are three wilderness areas of which only one, Driftwood Creek, has constructed trails.
