Saddle Mountain State Park

Saddle Mountain State Park is the highest peak in Northwest Oregon. The campground (10 primitive tent sites), picnic area, parking lot and trail head are located about seven miles north of Highway 26, on a park road that leaves the highway about 1.5 miles east of the Necanicum junction.

The mountain top was a refuge for plant species during the Ice Age, and the flora that remain are a unique treasure.

Quality experiences await visitors to more than 200 state parks managed for the public by the Oregon State Parks.
