Walterville is a small community in Lane County, located just east of Springfield along Highway 126 and the beautiful McKenzie River.
Walterville was named by George Millican, a pioneer resident and first postmaster, for his son, Walter Millican. The office was established in February 1875.
Walterville is part of the Eugene-Springfield, Oregon metro area.
