Fourteen battles of the Revolution were fought in this vicinity. the Historic Camden Revolutionary War Site offers guided and self-guided tours that take guests back in time to the days of the Colonial Period and the Revolutionary War. Guests may explore the 98-acre site where Camden was born as a trading post in the 1730s. Sites include forts, log cabins and 18th- and 19th-century homes.
