Historical Center of York County

In 1989, the Historical Center of York County was established in a wing of the McCelvey Center, a historic former school building now operated as a community center. The Historical Center is the repository for county records and features extensive collections of documents and photographs related to county history. The Center also houses collections of historical objects in storage, and curatorial offices.

This museum offers changing cultural exhibits, historical research materials and programs. The Historical Center of York County is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Admission is free to the public.
