Historic Brattonsville |
The Historic Brattonsville offers visitors the opportunity to see a restored plantation house and a 19th century doctor's office. Guests may enjoy a reenactment of the Revolutionary War in the 2nd weekend in July, the 775-acre living history village and farm, nature and heritage trails, 29 structures open to the public, Christmas Candlelight Tours, Children's Day on the Farm (March), and living history programs.
The mission of Historic Brattonsville is to "educate through preservation of its historic structures and grounds as a living history site museum that portrays evolving lifeways in the Carolina Piedmont since the mid-1700s."
Historic Brattonsvill is open year round, Monday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. The grounds are closed Thanksgiving, Christmas eve (all day), Christmas, and New Year's Day. Historic Brattonsville is located 10 miles west of Rock Hill.
