Huntington Beach State Park

This extensive beachfront area welcomes the public year round with a fresh water lagoon, nature trail, and pristine beach to allow access to the coast's diverse environment. A boardwalk winding far into the salt marsh enables visitors to watch tall wading birds, coastal raptors, and alligators. Located on Hwy 17 near Murrells Inlet, allows ocean swimming, crabbing and surf fishing and offers facilities for camping and picnicking. Hours: 6am-9pm.
