The Hominy Grill is serving a wide variety of southern specialties. The restaurant is housed in the ground floor of a three story Charleston shotgun dwelling, built in 1897. The breakfast menu consists of homemade banana, two eggs, omelets with home fries and biscuit with country ham & mushroom gravy. Lunch menu includes homemade soup, pasta salad with grilled vegetables, barbecued chicken sandwich with slaw and shrimp sauteed with scallions. Dinner menu comes with house made pimento cheese, southern fried chicken, grilled chicken cobb salad and baked cheese grits. Brunch menu serves cinnamon French toast, juice, red rice with shrimp gravy and poached eggs.
