Located in the elegant lobby of the Charleston Place Hotel, the Palmetto Cafe specializes in Contemporary American fare. Executive Chef Matthew uses the freshest ingredients from South Carolinas Lowcountry. The dining rooms atmosphere is sophisticated yet comfortable. The entire dining room overlooks a lush courtyard complete with a circular bronze fountain and beautiful gardens. There are an additional twenty tables set amongst the foliage where guests can enjoy breakfast and lunch. The cafe is open for breakfast from 6:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.; lunch from 11:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.; and dinner from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. There is a seafood buffet served Friday and Saturday from 6:00 p.m. until 9:45 p.m. There is also a breakfast buffet served Saturday & Sunday.
