The Newton Hills campground draws many campers each year. The modern campground has 111 campsites, including 82 with electrical hookups. Each site has a picnic table, grill and gravel camping pad.
Newton Hills is popular for hiking, mountain biking, cross-country skiing and horseback riding. During the summer, six miles of trail are open to hikers, bicycles and horses. During winter, nearly eight miles of trail are groomed for cross-country skiing.
