Melville Regional Park Golf Course is one of the oldest golf courses in Saskatchewan, dating back to the beginning of this century. For most of its existence it has had sand greens, but all 18 holes were made into grass greens by 1984. The course lies within city limits in the town's regional park. A creek slices down the centre of the course and is in play on most of its holes, crossing the fairway in the majority of cases. The fairways are generally open and quite rolling.
