There are items and relics of area pioneers, as well as exhibits from Fort Tenoxtitlan, a fort extablished in Mexico in 1830 to promote Mexican settlers and thwart Anglo-American colonists. It's a fascinating story. The Mexican commander eventually sided with the Texans and was a signer of the Texas Declaration of Independence. The museum is located in the Burleson County Courthouse.
