The site contains a visitors center and the home in which General Dwight D. Eisenhower was born; both are restored to reflect an 1890 appearance. Displays in the visitor center depict life in the 1940s, 50s and 60s. An 8-foot-tall bronze statue of the former President also adorns the grounds.
Tours are available Tuesday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Special arrangements may be made for group tours at other times. (Park is closed Mondays)
