Consisting of more than 400 acres on the shores of
Lake Texoma in
Grayson County, Eisenhower State Park opened to the public in 1958. It is named for the 34th U.S. President, Dwight David Eisenhower, who was born nearby. Facilities include playgrounds, campsites, restrooms, a group camp, a fishing cleaning facility and a boat launch ramp. Eisenhower Yacht Club, located within the park, is a full-service marina.
