It is named for the 34th U.S. President, Dwight David Eisenhower, who was born nearby. Facilities include playgrounds, campsites, restrooms, a group camp, a fishing cleaning facility and a boat launch ramp. Eisenhower Yacht Club, located within the park, is a full-service marina.
