Lake Meredith, impounded by Sanford Dam, is about 45 miles northeast of
Amarillo and 9 miles west of
Borger via SR 136. Recreational facilities are at Blue West, Cedar Canyon, Fritch Fortress, Harbor Bay, Plum Creek and Sanford Yake. Additional facilities are available at McBride and Bugbee Canyon. Houseboat rentals are available from the Marina at Lake Meredith.
