Landa Park

A recreation spot unusual for Texas because of its tropical greenery, covers 196 acres in the northwest section of the city. Inner tubing on the Cornal River is a popular pastime, and paddleboats and a glass-bottom boat ride are available on 25-acre Land Lake. There are two spring-fed swimming pools, an 18-hole golf course, a miniture train ride and facilities for fishing.
