Liendo Plantation

Built in 1853 by Leonard Groce, son of one of the largest landowners in Texas, from an original Spanish land grant of 67,000 acres assigned to Justo Liendo. One of the earliest cotton plantations in Texas. Liendo is a Texas historic landmark and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. They do charge an admission.
