The Moody Mansion

This mansion was built about 1895 in the Richardsonian Romanesque style. Entrepreneur William L. Moody Jr. purchased the 28,000-square-foot mansion after the great hurricane of 1900. The 42-room interoir includes stained glass, carved wood, tile work, fancy plaster work and stencils. Visitors can tour three floors where rooms are furnished in the opulence of a wealthy family in the early 1900s. An introductory film is featured.
