Located on the campus of
Sul Ross State University facing Hwy 90, the museum chronicles the Big Bend region. Panels, paintings and dioramas present the artifacts and history of the Spanish explorers, American Indians, ranchers and cavalry, all of whom played a role in the history of the region. Exhibits include a reconstructed general store, buggies, a stagecoach and a smithy.
