Old highway causeway, replaced by modern span, is now a popular fishing pier extending 3202 feet into Lavaca Bay. Swimming, boating, saltwater fishing with snack bar, bait stand, restrooms. The city park at base of pier has boat ramp, picnicking and rec vehicle facilities. Fee for pier use.
