This 389 acre 1.5 miles southwest on Barton Springs Rd. (FM 2244), borders Town Lake. Its centerpiece is Barton Springs, a former watering hole that is now a spring-fed 1,000 foot-long swimming pool with a constant tempature of 68 F. A large natural area offers opporunities for bicycling, canoeing, hiking and picniking.
