Alta Lodge is located at 8,600 feet (2,700 meters) at the base of the Alta Ski Area in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah. The lodge has 57 rooms ranging from mountain facing corner rooms to small dormitory rooms. In the historic Main Building include a lobby, deck room, Sitzmark Club. The original guest rooms were built in 1939. Several rooms have a fireplace and balcony. A large screen TV with satellite and DVD and video library are available in public area. It has two saunas and hot pools with a thirty foot wall of glass facing High Rustler. A two bedroom condominium is also available. Smoking in all facilities is not allowed. It also provides facilities for conferences, weddings and group dining.
