This is an elk feeding station that offers visitors the opportunity to view thousands of Rocky Mountain elk. The Hardware Ranch Wildlife Management Area (WMA) was purchased by the State of Utah in 1945. A visitor center offers telescope viewing of the large herd, as well as interpretive displays. The elk can also be viewed via sleigh rides, December through March; wagon rides are offered during the summer months. A restaurant offering a variety of meals, a coffee shop and a gift shop. The ranch is located 15 miles up Blacksmith Fork Canyon, 18 miles east of Hyrum.
