Located southeast of Manti, the 64-acre Palisade State Park is a landscaped property with trees and grass. Recreational opportunities that include non-motorized boating, swimming and year-round fishing attract many of the park's visitors. Additional features like an 18-hole golf course, practice range, professional golf shop, and snack bar offer recreation away from the reservoir's sandy beaches. Individual campsites and group camping are offered, as well as picnic areas and group pavilion. Boat rentals on site; off-road vehicle and biking trails are nearby.
