This home was built for Chief Justice Marshall in 1790 and occupied by him until his death in 1835. The house retains the original woodwork, paneling and many furnishings. Guided tours Tuesday-Saturday 10am-5pm, April-September; 10am-4:30pm October-December; by appointment the rest of the year. Closed major holidays.
