The center features aircraft and spacecraft suspended from a 94-foot ceiling, in addition to NASA displays. Displays include the Apollo 12 command module, a lunar lander, a moon rock collected during the Apollo 17 mission and a meteorite from Mars as well as several hands-on exhibits. An IMAX theater presents films on a rotating schedule. The center also has a gallery depicting the area's history; a seven-story observation deck provides panoramic views. Open daily 10am-5pm (also Thursday-Sunday 5-7pm), Memorial Day-Labor Day; daily 10am-5pm, the rest of the year. Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
