American Museum of Fly Fishing |
The American Museum of Fly Fishing was founded in 1968 by anglers concerned about preserving the sport's heritage. Over the years, they built an independent nonprofit institution intent on education and research into fly fishing and its social history and conservation.
Featured are exhibits of fishing equipment and other special displays, including the the tackle of such well-known anglers as Winslow Homer, Daniel Webster, Ernest Hemmingway, Bing Crosby and presidents Jimmy Carter, Grover Cleveland, Dwight Eisenhower and Herbert Hoover.
