Located on Monument Circle, this was the tallest battle monument in the world when completed in 1891, standing 306 feet. It is still the tallest in Vermont. There is a good view from the upper lookout chamber, which is reached by elevator; three states can been seen from the chamber. A diorama and exhibit illustrate the battle and the monument. Events are scheduled throughout the year.
